The purpose of the workshop is to guide you through the development of an advising assessment plan.  Your plan will help you measure the quality and effectiveness of your academic advising activities.  By the end of this workshop, you will have an outline for your new (or renewed) advising assessment plan.

Workshop content:

• Quick review of essential components of advising assessment
• Samples/templates for an entire assessment plan and for select components of your plan
• Time to work with your team, or as an individual, to develop your outline.  Working with a colleague in your department will be helpful but is not essential.
• Peer feedback
• Q&A with the session facilitator
